Staying at this wildlife retreat on a wine-farm was an absolute pleasure. The breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch mountains and vineyards made me feel like I was in a postcard. And the game camp? It was like being on a real-life safari, right on the property! With a private patio and entrance to my twin/double room, I felt like I had my own little oasis in the middle of nature. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, free WiFi, and even a kitchenette. Plus, being only 7 km away from Stellenbosch meant I had easy access to explore the charming town.
Glass bathroom door lacks privacy.

The accommodation was situated in a breathtaking location with stunning views of nature and wildlife. Waking up to the sight of zebras, wildebeest, and other animals grazing in the field was truly amazing. the unit itself was well-equipped for self-catering, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the value for money was fantastic. Plus, the included wine tasting added an extra touch of enjoyment to our experience.
The staff were quick to assist us and even offered a bottle of wine as an apology. there was no stove in the unit, which may be inconvenient for guests planning to cook.

We had such a lovely stay at the Wildlife Retreat On A Wine-Farm-No Loadshedding! Villa. The view from our room was absolutely fabulous, allowing us to watch the animals directly from bed. The cozy and comfortable room made for a relaxing stay. Complementary wine tasting at Remhoogte was a pleasant surprise, with six incredible wines and a breathtaking view from the terrace. The location on a popular wine route in a peaceful farm setting was a perfect escape from city life. Despite the stormy weather, our host made alternative arrangements to ensure our comfort. The bed with warm electrical blankets kept us cozy despite the cold. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing experience.
Although the room was a bit small and compact, it was equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom lacked privacy due to its glass door, and the room was bathed in light from dawn, which was slightly inconvenient.

Wow, what a great place for a 2-day break after lots of traveling. The room with a view was amazing, with buck, zebra, cool dogs. The dam, vineyards, and mountains provided stunning views. The room itself was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location felt very safe and the privacy was delightful. The owner, Helet, was lovely and the dogs on the property were a bonus. We even had zebras right outside our porch. Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The breathtaking view of the mountains and stunning sunsets, with close encounters with animals like zebras and springbok. Snacks, wine, and quality time with my bestie made it perfect for backpackers.
Felt truly spoilt, nothing to complain about.
